My Senior Year

Baby Sierrah is in the orange, having taken her senior photos the summer before her senior year. I can remember being so excited to start college - ready to move on and get started on my next chapter. But on that last day of high school, I had tears in my eyes as we went through all the senior traditions.

Now, four years later, as I am preparing to graduate college, I can tell you how much I reflect on my own senior photos. One is the photo on my student ID, others are my profile pictures across school accounts, social media, & publications. They show who I was at the end of my childhood. They show my style, my personality, my joys and I will be able to continue to show these photos for years to come. A representation of who I was.

There's something special about senior year.

It is a time of growth and change. A time of in between. Seniors are creating many of their "lasts" while moving on to new "firsts." Last high school football games and prom dates pass by, but applying to college and the first texts to your new dorm roommate come as well. It all starts to feel fleeting.

That's exactly why senior photos matter.

They're not just about documenting your best smile. They're about your energy in this moment in life.   One day you will look back at these images, remembering who you were in these moments.

This is where a professional photographer comes in. I pay attention to the details that make your story yours. Providing high quality images made to display in your home, on your socials and throughout your life.

Every location, pose, & photo is intentional. These photos are for you, your family, and your future self.

At the heart of it all, my goal is simple: to create lasting memories for every story.
